What are Favorites?

Tap the ❤️ on any business listing to save it. Your saved businesses appear in the Favorites section on the main page. Favorites are private and only visible to you.

How to install SLAY on your phone

SLAY works as an installable app so you can open it from your home screen like a regular app — no browser bar.

Look for this icon

After installing, this SLAY Directory icon appears on your home screen. Tap it to open the app.

iPhone / iPad (Safari)

Tap the Share button (square with an up-arrow).
Scroll and tap Add to Home Screen.
Tap Add in the top-right corner.

Android (Chrome)

Open Chrome's menu (three dots ⋮).
Choose Install app, Add to Home screen, or Install and create shortcut — wording varies by phone.
Confirm to add the SLAY icon to your home screen.
Do not choose "Download page" — that saves an offline copy and will not create a SLAY app icon.

Desktop (Chrome / Edge)

Look for the install app icon in the address bar and click it.
Or open the browser menu and choose Install SLAY Directory.

Why does the site look like the desktop version on my phone?

If SLAY suddenly shows a wide computer-style layout on your mobile device, Desktop site may be turned on. This can happen for your entire browser, for a single tab opened from an email or another app, or, on some devices, from your phone's settings.

Tap Chrome's three-dot menu (⋮) in the top-right corner.
Make sure Desktop site is turned off.
The page should switch back to the mobile layout.

If it's still showing the desktop version:

Check your phone's settings to see if it has a Desktop mode, Desktop site, or Desktop view option, and turn it off if available.
Note: Not all phones include a device-wide desktop mode, so this setting may not be present on every device.
